Education –Teaching Ecclesiastical Law

Rev. Dr. Sharon Styles -Anderson, Esq. Lectures on Ecclesiastical Law, at Primus University of Theology.  This course acquaints students with areas of the law that may impact them and their careers in ministry.  It provides a basic understanding of general legal principles and the application of law, both common and statutory. While not designed to be a law school course, it will assist student in the analysis of legal issues and provide the basis for sound judgment and decisions in both business and church life.

Dr. Anderson held the Lecturer of Law position at Harvard University Law School for over 10 years.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law School and has served as Director and Associate Professor of Law at Howard University, and Visiting Associate Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center.  She received a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctorate of ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.  She also received a Doctorate in Ecclesiastical Law from Phoenix University of Theology.
